January 6th- 13th

Personal Progress- The month of January we are working on the value Individual Worth. 

Lesson topics- In Sunday School and YW we are learning about the Godhead.

Conducting- Beehives are conducting this month. 

Stake dance- coming up this Saturday at 8:30pm-10:45pm

Class Presidency Meetings- This Sunday the 13th at 2:30pm right after church.

Stake Youth Council- Also this Sunday the 13th at 5:30pm.

Juniors and Seniors- We have a great opportunity for you! An 8 week paid internship during the summer plus a paid trip to Washington D.C. Check it out by clicking here.

It is already time to start thinking about girls camp!!!! I will be sending the medical releases via email as soon as they are ready. We would like them back by January 20th, which is a Sunday. If you can get them back to us earlier or send them back to my email when you have them finished that would be great as well. girlforgod27@aol.com

It is important to start thinking NOW about how you will raise money for camp. The cost is going to be about $170. Things you can do to raise money:

-Babysit

-We have a list of people who will pay for car washes, house cleaning, yard work

We will NOT be having a fundraiser this year, so keep that in mind.

PARENTS- if you happen to have a weekly, monthly or just one time job that you are willing to pay a young woman for, please email me and let me know of this so we can let the girls know.

Have you all been working on the Remembering Russell project that Sister Haggard emailed you/your parents about? I think it is an excellent way to spread kindness to others. I have been doing this and I have had some funny reactions to my kindness. A man even said to me, " This is Lake Forest, we don't meet kind people here! " I said, " Now you do! " He smiled and walked away. I was shocked to hear that from him and I thought that I really need to spread the love in Lake Forest more :)

This next Tuesday Beehives have the following activity to go to:    ( see below ) This will take place of mutual for them, and they do not have mutual on Wed. Miamaids and Laurels still come for mutual on Wed. the 16th.
