Upcoming Activities/Reminders for the week of 6/25-7/1

-As you heard tonight, it is important for ALL YOUTH to take the survey located at www.lds.org/survey7
Please do this ASAP, it takes a little time but your information is needed desperately, as we are apart of 5 stakes in CA that is doing this new pilot of youth curriculum. All leaders have already taken the survey.
- Girls Camp starting......Tuesday!!!
Here are the details:

  • Show up at Sister Haggard's house at 10am with your blanket, pillow, sack lunch, beach stuff, AND A CANNED GOOD! Don't forget the canned good! It will be part of dinner! You can bring canned veggies, beans, meats, clear broth soups, which will be added together to make Hobo stew for dinner. We will have a vegetarian stew and a meat lovers stew :)
  • We will have a devotional, and be making a craft to wear at Girls Camp and then heading to the beach! ( don't know which beach yet )
  • You can bring anyone on this day, you don't have to come to camp to be included on this day!
  • If you happen to have blue nail polish or clear top coat, throw it in your bag because we will be painting our nails blue and then putting star decals on for the theme for Girls Camp, BE STELLAR!
  • That night we will watch a movie back at Sister Haggard's and you can tell your ride to pick you back up at 9pm from her house.

Zzzzzzzz----catch some zzzzzzz's........

THEN.....

  • Meet at Stake center at 8am Wednesday morning!
  • Look at a previous blog post for what you are to bring, DONT FORGET your Altoids tin for a craft!
  • We are going to have an amazing time!!! Remember to leave all snacks at home, for fear of bears or rodents, and I truly don't want to share my sleeping bag with any(thing) else!
  • Going along with the theme, we want to BE STELLAR this week, go out of your comfort zone, make new friends, approach someone you wouldn't normally, look out for people who might be lonely and include them.
The week will FLLLLLLLLY by!!!!!

THEN......

  • We will all fast on Sunday to end Girls Camp.

Just FYI, there will be no Mutual this week for Young Women due to Girls Camp.
